North Ray Solar Farm: The Planning Process
From 31 December 2025, the threshold for solar farms that can be considered at a local level, by your council, is changing from 50 MW to 100 MW. TotalEnergies will therefore be submitting the planning application for North Ray Solar Farm to East Lindsey District Council via the Town and Country Planning Act (TCPA).
Following submission of a planning application, planned for early 2026, East Lindsey will then conduct its own statutory consultation before determining the application.
This will provide stakeholders, residents and other interested parties with another opportunity to provide feedback on our proposals.
