Callie's Solar Farm
About the project
Callie's Solar Farm is a 49.9 MW proposed development located on a 62 ha site of agricultural land 2.2km South East of Haddenham in Buckinghamshire. Planning permission was granted in September 2024 for a temporary period of 40 years from the date of the first exportation of electricity from the site.
Our Proposal
Photovoltaic panels will be laid in rows across the site and plant and other equipment will installed. The grid connection will at the local UK Power Networks Ilmer substation, south of the site.
The area surrounding the site is predominantly open countryside, including arable and pastoral farmland, with some isolated farms and associated buildings. The hamlet of ford is located approximately 1km north of the boundary.
Community Benefit Fund
A Community Benefit Fund is a voluntary commitment by a developer to pay into a fund which is then made available to finance community projects. Community benefit funds can offer an opportunity for the local community to access long-term, reliable, and flexible funding to directly enhance their local area, economy, society, and environment.
We have committed to provide funding to the local Parish Councils once construction is complete, for the lifetime of the development.
